Quickly Find & Delete Duplicate Songs on Mac Computer

- Launch this program, and then it will automatically import all the songs existing in your iTunes Music library to its file tray. For the songs outside your iTunes Music library, you will need to import them to this program manually: Click the Tidy Music icon located in the upper left of the program’s window, and then click the Open File button to import the songs or drag the music folder to the file tray directly.
- After importing, click on the Scan button in the upper part of the program’s window to let the program start to search for duplicate songs.
- When the scanning process has completed, click Duplicated Songs in the status bar and then you will see all the duplicates that have been found by this program. Select each one, and you will find that this program has ticked the song that has the highest quality and crossed its other duplicates, then click Dedupe button to remove the duplicate files.
P.s. You may notice that there are two selected checkboxes, “Search for Unidentified Songs” and “Search for Duplicated Songs”, on the left of the Scan button. That means, in the scanning process, your songs whose information (title, artist, album, album cover, delivery year, track no., lyrics, etc) are incomplete, corrupted, or inconsistent will be identified.
