Question: I have record several video clips, now I want to show them to my friends. But it seems not very smooth and fluent when playing. So I prefer to add some transitions between them. I know Windows Movie Maker has such features, but I really not so unacquainted to it. Now I hope someone can provide a simple and easy-to-use video editing software for me to apply transitions to my videos. Thanks so much!

Answer: Yeah, as you know, the transitions can blend the change from one scene to another to make our video clips paly more smoothly and fluently. And do many video editing programs have the feature to add transitions between video clips. But most of them are too complex to use such as iMovie and Windows Movie Maker. So in order to meet your requirements, you can try Wondershare Video Editor. It is a simple video editing program which can easily apply transitions to your videos. OK, maybe you don’t trust it, so you can follow the below four steps to check its details right now. I’m sure it won’t let you down!

Step 1: Free download Wondershare Video Editor directly, then install and run the program.

Step 2: Load your video clips to this video editor. You are provided two simple ways to complete this step: click Import button on the top of the main interface to browse your file folder and load your video clips, or directly drag them to the Media library.

Step 3: Add transitions between your video clips. Hit the Transition tab, then you will see 50 different transitions in the Transition panel. You can choose your favorite one and double click it to preview its effect. Then drag it to the Video track to apply.

Now double click the transition between the video clips to set its duration. You can hit the Apply to All to apply the same transition between all the clips. Or maybe you want to apply different transitions, of course, just do as the same way. Note:The transition may be too small to edit or see on the Timeline. If so, click Zoom in to see it and edit it.

Step 4: Save your videos. When you finished the above steps, just click the Created icon to save the video. You can choose different output format for it, and save it to your computer, hand devices, DVD discs or directly upload it to YouTube and Facebook for sharing. After all these completed, hit Create and wait for only several minutes, then you can enjoy it at will!
