How to Burn iTunes Videos to DVD for Playing on Non-Apple TVs
iTunes pruchased movies & TV-shows can be easily streamed to Apple TV for watching on big screen, but if your TV is other brand like Toshiba, Samsung, Panasonic, LG, etc., becasue such TVs are not allowed to stream videos from iTunes, then how will you watch the iTunes video(.m4v) purchases on these Non-Apple-brand TVs?
One solution is to burn the movies & TV-episodes bought from iTunes to DVD. The following are the eight steps to get the job done:
Step 1: Download and install the Aimersoft video converter ultimate (The directly download link).
Why the Aimersoft video converter ultimate? You may know that all video contents in the iTunes store are encrypted by Apple's FairPlay DRM scheme. The FairPlay prohibits customers from copying, converting, burning their iTunes video purchases. Fortunately, the Aimersoft ultimate has the function of removing DRM from iTunes, besides this, it features video conversion and a DVD burning tool, so with this software, you can burn iTunes videos directly to a DVD disc.
Step 2: Open the Aimersoft ultimate. Click the Add files button, then go to your iTunes folder on computer, find the movie or TV-show you'd like to burn to DVD, select it and click Open to load it to this software.
Step 3: Press the Output format pull-down menu located in the right side of the software's window, and choose the MPEG-2. Because the standard of DVD video is the MPEG-2, your iTunes video is the DRM-protected M4V video, you have to convert it to DVD video format first, otherwise the burnt disc can not be used on regular DVD player.
Step 4: Hit the Convert button. After the conversion is finished, click the Open Folder button you will see the final MPEG-2 file. By the way, the FairPlay DRM restriction on the source file will be removed automatically during the converting process.
Step 5: Insert a blank DVD-R/RW disc into your computer's DVD Rom.
Step 6: Go back to the home screen of the Aimersoft ultimate, press the Burn tab at the top of the software's window, then the converted MPEG-2 file have been added to the list automatically waiting to be burnt.
Step 7: Click the Change Template button to make a personalized DVD menu from large numers of free DVD menu templates. You are also allowed to add a background picture and background music.
Step 8: At this last step, you can check the default burn settings to see if they are suitable for you. If not, you can adjust the burn settings and Hit the Burn button to start burning.
That's it. Enjoy burning!
