Main plot: The film focuses on one week in the life of a talented but struggling folk singer Llewyn Davis (Oscar Isaac) from Greenwich Village in 1961. In a cold winter, this singer has a very negative opinion about his recent work on a song and he even losses his faith on his friendship with Jim (Justin Timberlake) and Jean (Carey Mulligan). After some struggling, Llewyn realizes that he himself may be the biggest obstacle on his road to success.
