As a Windows 7 Operating System user, you may encounter such situations like the system prompting you don’t have privilege to keep some programs in your system hard disks etc. Perhaps the purpose of this article is to protect some system critical applications and files that you may accidentally deleting and damaging the entire system in the process. However you can solve this problem through getting full rights of Administrator.

This is the guide for you that how you can gain full administrator privileges in Windows 7:

1. Click on the Start button.

2. Click Computer. Under it there is a list of hard disks. Find the hard disk in which your Windows 7 is installed. Right click it and select Properties.

3. Right click it and select Properties. Then a proceeding window will appear. There are several tabs on the top of this window, you should click on Security. On the lower part of the window you will see the Advanced button, click it.

4. After that you will come across another window which includes a list of all the users on your computer. Then click the button Change Permissions.

5. A new window will appear on your screen. Select the user account you want to give total control over your Windows 7 and click the Edit button.

6. Then check the checkbox in front of Full control and then click OK.
